There are many versions of Little Women both in play and movie form. We will be doing the Kevin Cunningham version. I would recommend taking a look at several versions of Little Women. I particularly am a fan of the 1994 movie version. Although it will differ from your script, I love the charactor protrayals. 

CHARACTERS:

LOUISA MAY ALCOTT - the author in her thirties  

THOMAS NILES - Louisa's editor 

MEG MARCH - the responsible no-nonsense oldest daughter, whose thoughts are turning to love 

JO MARCH - the feisty tomboy and alter-ego of the author

BETH MARCH - the sickly but angelic helper 

AMY MARCH - the tempestuous self-important youngest child

MARMIE MARCH - the independent, caring, morally outspoken mother of the little women

HANNAH - long time servant of the March family, more of a friend than a servant

LAURIE - the rich but lonely young man next door 

MR. LAWRENCE - Laurie's irascible grandfather 

MR. DAVIS - Amy's discipline-heavy school teacher 

MR. BROOKE - Laurie's tutor, later Meg's suitor

DR. BANGS - Local doctor 

AUNT MARCH - Mr. March's well-to-do but busybody sister 

PROF. BHAER - a German scholar Jo meets in New York
