Tech Crew makes it all work behind the scenes: We do lights. We do sound. We do building. We do painting. We move things around. We take things apart. Most of all, we have a really good time.

During the course of the rehearsal process the tech department will be responsible for the building of the show. From the set, to the props, to costumes, etc. During this time, all crew members will be asked to attend crew meetings and builds. This will be referred to as THE BUILD PROCESS.

Once the performance dates are getting closer and the set is up and function, the next phase of the tech process will begin. This is called the TECH PROCESS and this is where the SHOW RUN CREW move into their roles for the running of the show. Some students may prefer to assist only with the BUILD PROCESS and some may prefer to continue on and be a member of our SHOW RUN CREW.

If you would like to be a member of the SHOW RUN CREW, you will need to be free and and available for the entire tech process including performances. You commitment is a critical piece to the success of any production.

***Tech meetings will take place on Thursdays 4:30 - 6:30. All students in the tech crew will be asked to attend these weekly meetings. Additional build dates/times will take place throughout the rehearsal and tech process depending on department.
